The Lord Nelson Inn is a wonderful country pub and restaurant that also offers cosy, modern accommodation. We are passionate about food, wine, real ale, and being a welcoming place for locals and visitors alike.
The lord Nelson Restaurant has gained excellent reviews in the press and magazines. Our menu is clear cut and unfussy, with an emphasis on simplicity and quality. All our food is sourced locally where possible, and prepared on the premises by our chefs.
Marshfield is a delightful village on the edge of the Cotswolds, between the City of Bath and the M4 motorway, and approximately half way between Bristol and Chippenham on the A420. Fresh local produce
Our produce is fresh whenever possible, seasonal and locally sourced supporting local suppliers: - Marshfield: Artingstall’s Butchers.
Bath: - Bartlett’s Butchers, The Bath Soft Cheese Co. Others: - A. David, Charles Saunders, Orchard Fruit & Vegetables, Naked Veg and W.J. Harris all from Bristol, L & F Jones and also Hunts.
We will never intentionally use any products that we know to be genetically modified. Regrettably, we cannot guarantee that all of our dishes are 100% free from nuts or their derivatives.

Friday's fresh fish special
Every Friday we will be sourcing freshly caught fish from our local supplier, Charles Saunders.
This will be detailed on our fish board outside our Inn on Wednesdays, to be cooked fresh over the weekend.
You are welcome to come in and discuss the fish with our chefs.
